Bachelor of Science in Economics & Finance

About the Programme

Discerning leaders are needed now more than ever; leaders who can see the connection between economic expansion and financial stability. The financial health of an individual, a company, a community, or a country can have an effect on the choices that are made. Those attempting to make prudent financial decisions would do well to get an appreciation of the state of the economy.

The Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance program at Sharda University Uzbekistan focuses on the interplay between the two disciplines. Finance focuses on the finer points of industry risk and return on investment, while economics examines the big picture of how a country, region, or specific market is performing. Both the subjects are significant, offer a comprehensive education and open up intriguing new prospects.

The Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance program is designed to give students an education in economics and finance at par with the best in the world. Courses in economics and finance are included in the curriculum to provide students a firm grounding in the fundamentals and a head start on applying them to their professional lives. The curriculum can be completed by self-study, mentored projects, and an internship in the field. Throughout their time at the university, students will have the opportunity of having an academic mentor who will work with them as a team to help them grow as competent professionals.
