About
Mr. Davron Akbarov enrolled for his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing (with honors) at Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan in 2005. Where he was awarded a scholarship with Erasmus Mundus in 2007 and was able to pursue his bachelor degree from Anadolu university and Vrije University, Turkey and Belgium and returned to Uzbekistan in 2009. He received his final degree from Tashkent State University of Economics, Uzbekistan as well in 2010.
He joined at Tashkent State University of Economics for “Masters of International Business” in 2010. Where he was awarded a scholarship Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India affiliated with Massachusetts Institute of Technology USA (MIT). Where he was the part of “Training program on Governance and Management of NGO and NPO” (with certificate), 2011. Finally, he returned to Uzbekistan and received his joined master degree of CEU and TSUE in 2012.
He joined Central European University (CEU) for Summer course on “Leadership and Management Integrity in Emerging countries” with the choice of “LMI-SME's and Social Enterprises” policy lab, (with certificate), 2013.
After finishing his Masters, he joined “General Motors - Uzbekistan ” – Closed Joint - Stock Company, Andijan, Uzbekistan in the time period of
February-May 2010 – February-May 2012 as Assistant manager of Global Purchase Department (internship) to plan and manage product development project of implementing automobile production and assembly.
Responsibilities
- Lead & conduct project planning sessions with all project staff, develop/maintain overall project plan;
- Identifying and managing project issues and risks;
- Managing product releases and authoring and maintaining the project related documentations
- Communicating with foreign partners regarding project issues when needed
- Communicating with local car dealers within country
His next working project was with “Joint-Stock Commercial Bank Hamkorbank” in the time period from October 2012- October 2019 as Senior Associate Specialist of International Financial Institutes division (IFI).
Responsibilities
- Researching and analyzing financial information relating to specific international financial institutions
- Coordinating and consolidating of annual business plans
- Providing analytical perspectives to important strategic decisions
- Making contracts and loan agreements with foreign financial partners
- Identifying and managing financial project issues and risks;
- Establishing requirements and acceptance criteria within International financial institutes
- Maintaining contact with Financial and Development institutions;
- Monitoring IFIs covenant compliance, analyzing monthly and quarterly monitoring reports and reporting to partners;
- Preparing due diligence templates;
- Reviewing and analyzing the Term sheets and Loan agreements and giving feedbacks in respectively;
- Preparing commercial and business development activities.
