Overview

Sharda University offers an extensive range of undergraduate programmes in management and engineering tailored to complement the varying requirements of students and the industry. The duration of basic undergraduate programmes is four years, admission to which can be acquired after two years of Lyceum program.

Those students who wish to join the University after completing three years of their Lyceum programme can directly join in the 2nd year of the undergraduate programme of their choice and complete the degree in three years.

If a student, after successful completion of the degree wants to acquire an internationally recognised qualification (which requires sixteen years of schooling) can opt for an Honours programme of one year. This programme can be earned through independent study, guided projects or industry internships.

The students who have marginal weakness in English scores or have a substantial difference in the admission test scores can opt for International Fast Track Programme, which involves small- group intensive teaching to prepare the student. On successful completion of the programme, such student can be placed directly to the second year of the UG Programme.

Engineering Programmes

Sharda University is a collaborative center for providing an innovative education filled with discovery, and dissemination of knowledge. The B.Tech programme allows freshers to gain a practical understanding of different engineering functions and grow individual networks through cross-functional relationships. From computer science engineering to electrical engineering, there are various programmes available at Sharda for the students according to their interest. The B.A. Applied English programme focuses on the core skills a student needs to build a solid English foundation. The course is designed as per the European Framework of Reference for Languages.

  • This programme will also help in preparation for IELTS programme.

Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering
  • Master's Degree in CSE/IT/ECE/EE or any other related disciplines, as well as other equivalent qualifications that are accepted by the Sharda University Uzbekistan;

  • Candidate should qualify Sharda University Scholarship and Admission Test (SUSAT);

  • Personal Interview (for Uzbekistan Students)/Online interview (for International Students) or (IELTS 5.0 or higher/equivalent test)

In addition, the candidate will submit the following; Letter of Recommendation: Applicant should provide two letters of recommendation, one of which must be from an academic referee.

  • Personal Statement of Interest: Applicants should submit a personal statement (300-500 words) which explains why the candidate is applying and how his/her studies will contribute to the achievement of their personal objectives, including information about the applicant's research interests and achievements

  • Resume/Curriculum Vitae: Applicant should submit a copy of their current resume or curriculum vitae which should include Academic Qualifications, Professional Experience, Publications, Research Projects, Academic Awards or Honours
