Dr. Isha Kampoowale is a dedicated and accomplished academician currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Management at Sharda University, Uzbekistan. With over a decade of professional experience encompassing academia, research, and social development, she represents a strong blend of scholarly excellence, applied research, and community engagement.
Dr. Kampoowale earned her Ph.D. in Management from AHIBS, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Kuala Lumpur one of Malaysias top-ranked universities (QS World Ranking 153, 2025). Her doctoral research, titled “Effects of Capabilities and Resources on Firm Performance of Manufacturing Small and Medium Enterprises in India A Study of Innovation, Networking, Digitalization, and Decision Making,” offers valuable insights into SME performance dynamics in emerging economies. She was awarded a prestigious scholarship from the Government of Madhya Pradesh, India, supporting two years of her international doctoral studies (2019).
Her research interests span Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Digital Transformation, Organizational Behaviour, and Quantitative Research. She has published extensively in Scopus,Web of Science and indexed journals, including The TQM Journal, Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, International Journal of Ethics and Systems, and International Journal of Emerging Markets, among others. Additionally, she has authored book chapters with IGI Global and Emerald Publishing, focusing on topics such as AI in education, HR digital transformation, and cross-cultural management.
Dr. Kampoowale also serves as a reviewer for leading international publishers including Emerald, Springer, and Elsevier, contributing actively to the academic and research community through peer review and editorial engagement. A passionate educator and mentor, she emphasizes case-based learning and practical application of management theories, ensuring students develop both analytical and problem-solving skills.
Her earlier work with the Government of Indias National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) on womens empowerment and rural entrepreneurship provides her with a unique perspective on sustainable development and inclusive business practices. Proficient in SPSS and SmartPLS, she continues to contribute to research in digitalization, ESG performance, and sustainable business strategy, promoting innovation, ethical leadership, and academic excellence in management education.
