Dr. Dayana Mathew is a dedicated academician and passionate researcher with over a decade of experience in teaching English language and literature at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from Bharathiar University, India, and has developed expertise in psychological, feminist, and existential approaches to literary studies. She has also served as Assistant Controller of Examinations for three years, contributing significantly to academic administration and assessment processes.

A passionate educator, she strives to foster creativity, critical thinking, and effective communication among her students through learner-centered and interactive methodologies. Her teaching philosophy integrates digital learning tools and outcome-based education strategies to promote holistic academic growth. She has published and presented several research papers and book chapters in reputed national and international journals and has also, served as a resource person for guest lectures, webinars, and organized faculty development programs. Also she has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate research projects. She views literature as a bridge between intellectual inquiry and human emotion, aiming to create inclusive and transformative learning environments that inspire students to connect textual interpretation with real-world empathy and understanding.
