About

Dr. C Kalyan Chakravarthy is an Assistant Professor of English in the faculty of Humanities, Sharda University, Uzbekistan. He has been teaching English for over 13 years in different institutions. He completed his Ph.D. in English Language Teaching (ELT) from Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore, India, which has strong international presence across the world and partnerships with over 300 foreign universities. His research focused on the integration of mobile apps in enhancing reading skills in English among the students who learn English as a second language. With his research, he analysed how mobile apps, with their interactive and accessible features, could bridge the gap and provide students with the necessary support to enhance reading proficiency. He also holds a TEFL certification from ITTT, Hong Kong. Additionally, he contributed to the academic community through participation in seminars and conferences, where he presented papers on various language related topics. Over the years, his background has allowed him to develop and refine methods that connect technical content and effective communication skills. He is always passionate to teach and explore new methods by adapting different cultures and prepare students for the demands of the globalized world.
