29 Apr 2025

The Faculty of Humanities at Sharda University, Uzbekistan, organized a Three-Day International Faculty Development Programme on "Sustainability of English Language and Literature in Contemporary Research Practices" from April 29th to May 1st, 2025. This online program aimed to empower educators and researchers with insights into the integration of emerging technologies, interdisciplinary approaches, and theoretical frameworks that shape current and future academic landscapes in English studies – from the influence of artificial intelligence on English language teaching, to the growing emphasis on interdisciplinarity in literary research, and the evolving theories and practices in English studies. This program brought together distinguished experts from diverse academic backgrounds who shared their perspectives, helping us envision more sustainable, innovative, and human-centred approaches to language and literature in research.
