PROGRAMME OUTCOME
Upon successful completion of this course, the student shall be able to - 1. Demonstrate fundamental understanding of the history of articial intelligence (AI) and its foundations. 2. Apply basic principles of AI in solutions that require problem solving, inference, perception, knowledge representation, and learning. 3. Demonstrate awareness and a fundamental understanding of various applications of AI techniques in intelligent agents, expert systems, articial neural networks and other machine learning models. 4. Have insight into the main methods used in machine learning (ML) and articial intelligence (AI). 5. Demonstrate prociency in applying scientic method to models of machine learning. 6. Demonstrate an ability to share in discussions of AI, its current scope and limitations, and societal implications. 7. Design and conduct experiments using the methods, with emphasis on evaluation.
