Ms. Rehana Parveen, a certified TEFL & TESOL (Canada Board Exam) holder, is an accomplished English language educator with extensive experience in teaching learners of diverse age groups and proficiency levels. She holds a Masters degree in English with a specialization in Gender Studies from the University of Calcutta.
With an academic background in Gender Studies and a deep admiration for the works of T. S. Eliot, Ms. Parveen skillfully blends her passion for literature with critical theory, creating dynamic and thought-provoking learning experiences in her classrooms and research pursuits.
Her research interest focuses on Eliots rendition of the “Mind of Europe” in the modern context, along with explorations in Gender and Feminist Critique, Evolutionary Psychology, and the works of Simone de Beauvoir.
She also holds a patent and publication for her article titled “Ghost of Magical Realist Fiction Challenge in De-centering the ‘Isms – A Comparative Reading of Specters in the Hindi Scripts Duvidha and Paheli.
Currently, Ms. Parveen is delving into the emerging field of Blue Humanities, where her research examines the interconnectedness between literature, environmental sustainability and the symbiotic relationship between human culture and the natural world.
